Did you know that not all dentist are the same?  Being a dentist means that you have earned a 4 year dental degree in addition to undergraduate studies and have achieved a level of proficiency and knowledge.  In other words the degree means that the public can trust the dentist knows what he is doing.  So there are many things that all dentists do well.

But did you know that dentistry is also an art?  If you were to commission a portrait that you would have to wear on your face for the rest of your life, would you just walk into the first artists shop you found?  No way!  When you are shopping for a new smile, my advice is to be choosy.  There is a lot that goes into the art of a smile.  A dentist that has taken special courses, such as those offered at the Las Vegas Institute (LVI) for advanced dental studies, can give you confidence that you are in the right place.  And that smile is often more life changing than people think.

An artistic smile can make such a dramatic difference for you that it can completely change your life.  This is one of the reasons I love being a dentist.  I get to see this change every day.  How you feel on the inside is powerfully effected by your face.  This is not vanity, it is a scientifically verifiable truth!  You can't smile really big for 30 minutes and still feel depressed.  Try it.  There have actually been studies on this.  What we do with our face has a dramatic influence on how we feel.  The point is, a beautiful smile is not only attractive, but it can profoundly change how you feel.  You feel more confidant as if somebody had unlocked your personality.  The other way that people often find life changing results is from the relief of chronic head and neck pain.  This is a fascinating area of dentistry and you will want to check out our page on Life Changing Pain Relief.
